Fylde Coast Resuscitation Services.....

Skills drills training for acute hospitals, clinics & airlines

In some situations the Health Care Commission (HCC) and National Health Service Litigation Authority (NHSLA) request that regular training events are held on a Bi Monthly basis to ensure that all frontline hospital/clinic staff are at their best to deal with medical emergencies and cardaic arrest situations.

The areas where this training is directed at would normally have Resident Medical Officers (Doctors) and Trained Health Care Professionals (RN's & ODP's) or Cabin Crew from international airlines most long haul flights have automated defibrillators (AED's) as standard in flight equipment.

The training that we provide here at Fylde Coast Resuscitation varies, depending on the clinical enviorment and the equipment that is required to undertake this training in a real life scenario.

Common equipment that is required for these sessions are:
Advanced Resuscitation Manikins
Defibrillators
Assimulated Pre-loaded Drugs
Artificial Wounds
Artificial Blood

They are normally held in the Private Hospital or Clinic that is requesting this level of training, and is not normally an advertised session to the frontline teams. This allows staff to function at their best in there own clinical setting.

These sessions are fully supported by advanced instructors in life support and a debrief report is supplied for hospital records and HCC/CQC or NHSLA requirements.

Please feel free to contact Anthony Freestone or any of the team for further information or costs for this advanced session of training, e-mail link:  enquiries@cpr-training.co.uk
