During the 2.5 hour Basic Life Support training session where possible and time permitting other areas may be covered including:-

• Infant and child resuscitation overview
• Infant and child resuscitation practice
• cardiac arrest in pregnancy
• Use of bag valve mask (two person)
• Use of oro-pharyngeal airways
• Demonstration of an AED
• Use of Automated External Defibrillator, if available in practice

Awareness of the drugs used in medical emergencies
(please refer to drugs list from your resuscitation officer on commencment of training)

• Anaphylaxis
• Fainting/ Unconsciousness
• Fits
• Asthma
• Angina/ Heart Attacks
• Diabetic emergencies
• Cardiac arrest in pregnancy

We may also devise a specific training package which directly reflects your requirements. Please dont hesitate to contact us at Fylde Coast Resuscitation to discuss your training needs specific to your organisation

The cost of this training will be £175.00 for up to 8 people and £35.00 per person thereafter. This will include all course materials, certification and incidental expenses incurred. Receipts will be issued and you may be able to claim these expenses back if you are part of a public organisation / NHS support system. Please ask for advice regarding assisted training fees.
